Preliminary information for a three-scenario plan for students to return to campus in the fall. The Fall Opening of School Task Force is a team of administrators charged with examining different opening scenarios and developing actionable plans for each of them. The Task Force has expanded to include six collaborative, working subgroups.

The subgroups are the following: Health and Safety, Academic Programming, Student Life Programming, Social Distancing and Campus Density, Finance and Personnel, and Communication and Outreach.

Re-entry planning includes three scenarios:

Scenario 1: On-campus learning model – students return for “normal” in-person education with adjustments,
Scenario 2: Hybrid learning model – students who are not comfortable returning to campus to learn remotely
Scenario 3: Remote learning model – all students shift to off-campus learning due to a mandated shutdown by the state
