When Mike Davis, head of school at Colorado Academy, addressed his community to announce plans for online learning, he made a commitment to be innovative in trying to support students in a holistic way. Understanding that learning, development, and social-emotional wellness are about more than classroom lectures, he promised parents he would consider creative ways to engage his students.
