Iolani School has a Iong history of seeking out ways to help our community-at-large, especially in times of need. The commitment to do all that’s possible remains stronger than ever. Recently, ‘Iolani mobilized faculty and resources from our Sullivan Center for Innovation and Leadership to design and fabricate thousands of face shields as part of the personal protective equipment vitally needed for healthcare workers and others working on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19. Alumni have also returned to the school to volunteer for this cause and join in the efforts.

Greensboro Day School Pop Up Learning for the Greater Community
We are leveraging the expertise of our students, parents, alumni, and grandparents for the greater good of the community by hosting “live” zoom sessions. Zoom sessions include healthcare leaders, teachers leading yoga, grandparents providing wellness tips, and national experts. These are free and open to the GDS community and the greater community.
