Durham Academy’s spring break began on March 6. Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, the school decided to suspend on-campus instruction and activities. DA’s 200+ faculty and staff returned from spring break and in 48 hours, launched an online version of DA for 1,227 students in grades Pre-K through 12. The first day of Durham E-cademy was Wednesday, March 18. Through the hiccups and successes of the week’s transition to online learning, the spirit of the school is still shining brightly. This is a look at the highlights from Day 1. Many thanks to our teachers, students and families for their patience and enthusiasm!
