At the International Academy of New York, we opened fully in person for all of our teachers and students, but to do so, we knew that emotional support had to be at the forefront of everything we did. Support for parents, support for teachers, support for our students. Part of our solution was to engage Lorena Seidel, A Social Emotional Learning Consultant, who sends videos every week with thoughts and tips on managing stress, finding positivity and joy, learning how to meditate, and so forth.
